There is a logjam on the way as there will be need to add the DL people end of seasons like LeClerc and Hernandez. We are going to lose some prospects I think. Quality vs quantity argument
We probably need to do a quantity for quality trade ourself, maybe a couple of them.

Or maybe we can trade some guys on the 40 for guys who are much younger and do not need to go on the 40. I would suggest Lowe, IKF, Taveras, and Tejeda.

Burle is a prime candidate to be DFAed. I can't really figure out why he is still here and Phillips is gone, other than the fact that they traded for Burke and picked Tyler in the 16th round of the draft.

When it comes to the 40-man decisions, Yohel Pozo is forcing the Rangers to include him soon. His emergence this year is nothing short of amazing.

He’s not even in our top 50

Never ever quit
Nope never. Would like to see Garcia begin hitting a few more long balls. The jury is still out on him and I would like to see him getting back to what we know he can do.

Jury is still out, but remember this is his rookie season.

Ok a declaration here.
I think JD got way too much blame for some things “ beyond his control or perhaps needing micro managing which in long run be counterproductive.
But now I am not giving him JD much of the credit for finally getting f this rebuild jump started.
I think the infusion of Chris Younf has helped a bunch. Now there is a lot more to GMing than what has happened but it looks like we are headed in a better direction

Why not? He looks like he needs more time in AAA and can be called back anytime. These other guys need to be looked at.
Sending him to AAA is not the same as DFAing him, you can send him to AAA and he stays on the 40 man

At the end of the day, none of us know a damn thing about what it takes to run a ballclub. Very easy to be an armchair GM.

Mistakes get analyzed to death and successes are rarely remembered.

I agree that the addition of CY is a sign things are headed in a better direction. And there have been several new hires/positions that are also contributing.

Based on what I'm seeing in the minors, the ship is sailing the right way.
