I don’t think it’d be Cole or Wyatt yet since it hasn’t been 90 days yet for Bray and Cole still is under WWE contract, albeit not for too much longer possibly.

It's possible it could be Cole. He technically isn't under contract I believe. It expired in July and they've got a working agreement thru SS.

Both Buddy Murphy and Braun Stroman's 90 days are up Aug 31st as well. Could be one of them

After seven years away from pro wrestling, CM Punk has signed with All Elite Wrestling and will wrestle Darby Allin in his first match back on Sept. 5 in Chicago.

Yeah. Just finished watching the show about 15 minutes ago. I would've loved to have been in that crowd to hear that reaction. AEW for the most part, delivers on their big surprises and doesn't really screw the fans. Also, I am glad that it was JR instead of Jericho on commentary tonight but still wish it was a 2 person, maybe even 3 person booth. Four is way too many people, especially for a one hour show.
I think it'll be another massive reaction if Brian Danielson debuts (with the Final Countdown playing in the arena) on that New York show at Arthur Ashe stadium in 3-4 weeks.

I thought he had just signed like a short term extension through Summer Slam but could be wrong. So I was figuring it wouldn't be him since that'd be considered tampering if true.
Buddy Murphy really wouldn't be considered a huge surprise though. Braun, possibly but think that he'll go back to WWE.

The rating for Dynamite this and next Wednesday is going to be a huge indicator if CM Punk could draw back the large number of fans who stepped away.

If they can’t improve by 300k minimum I think it just goes to show that wrestling just isn’t going to draw what is used too no matter who comes back.
