Haven't heard much about him lately since he was "moved" into the RP role instead of the rotation.

What's the good word on him? Should I keep him? Dallas Keuchel is available in my league.

I love that he got moved out temporarily. (He was going to rejoin te rotation this week, but that got pushed back.). His innings were going to be monitored at some point. And RP's that are eligible as starters are great sources of bonus points in daily leagues. He's no Dice-K, but Wood hasn't lost much value in my eyes.

ok, good to know that they were just be cautious with Wood and it wasn't like they were going to demote him to Triple A or anything like that.

in a league that shallow, you can drop Wood for Keuchel... just be ready to pounce if word should come about Wood back into the rotation... I think we're all too high on keeping Wood in seasonal leagues.

Yeah I was thinking this as well. fortunately as the other poster mentioned I still can use him as a RP.

Not true. Wood is better than both Floyd and Harang and the Braves know this. He is in the bullpen now, so they don't have to pull a Strasburg and shut him down before the playoffs.

Between Keuchel and Wood though, I take Keuchel.

I was listening to baseball HQ a few days ago and they were talking about holding on to him or picking him up because he would be back in the rotation at some point

:agree: although I would say this. .Haring and Floyd can both fall back on years of experience when things get tough, and not completely fall apart. Does Wood have that? I haven't seen enough to tell yes or no.
