Lol okay so runs can now be scored when umpires waving play dead. I'll keep that one in mind.

LOL blame your damn catcher before you blame the umpire. Odor was the only aware one. If Donaldson was as aware as Odor, it is likely a play at the plate and even if he is safe, they probably wouldn't count the run. Toronto's lack of awareness on that play PRIOR TO THE UMP waving the play off was comical

Once again, HOW CAN A RUN BE SCORED WITH PLAY WAVED DEAD?!

I don't give a fuck that the right call was made, I give a fuck that rules are rules and I have never seen a run scored after play is waved dead. I don't care if the runner was a **** hair away from home plate. It's never happened.

I would have thought a play being called dead would be just that and no run scores, but I also would have thought that Utley not touching 2nd after his dirty slide meant he can't be awarded 2nd.

as the guy said, it was a throw- the fact that it hit something should not prevent the runner from attempting to score.

strange play indeed. I doubt it will be the difference in this game when it's all said and done, Blue Jays will score more runs.

Why?

The 100% absolutely correct call was made.

At best, you are arguing that Texas should be totally fucked over by umpire incompetence.

fair enough, you're right when i think about it.

Martin is the one at fault here since Choo's bat was still within the batters box.

just a heads up play by Odor, not much else to say.
