However... as you mentioned they did "call it" before he crossed, they might reverse the reversal

I'm not saying it isn't. But the ump fucking waved play dead. The run should be called back. Since when is that reviewable?

He waved the play dead when the runner was damn near at home plate. No way can they overturn this

Tell Martin watch the fuck where he's throwing. Runner would have been safe anyway. This is all on your catcher.
This is hilariously basic on the part of the catcher. Utter lack of awareness in a huge game. Martin is going to be a scapegoat if something doesn't change real quick.

No way could they have gotten the runner out by the time waved it off. He was basically at home plate

This happens all the time though... Player running to 2nd/3rd each... time is called, runner goes back, very interesting to see what happens here.

Either way... the fans really need to stop this crap with throwing things on the field

Lol he was not even close to home when it was waved dead. But they weren't gonna get him so it should count on that merit.

ump stopped the play before he scored and i thought the announcers said his initial call isn't reviewable? this whole thing would be such a nightmare for MLB if a series is decided this way. 162 games and then this? just another reason on the long list of things as to why MLB is so broken.

I agree but how can a run count when the play is called dead. that is like an ump calling an infield fly and then changing his mind. once the play is dead it is dead. I bet on texas so ill take it though

From where I'm sitting this is hilarious. Although I want Jays to win. I love when shit goes haywire when my team isn't involved.

Choo did nothing to interfere with that throw back to the pitcher

Damn well he did deliberately interfere - simply by the way he held out the bat. One of those little tricks in the game. Much like - in soccer - sticking feet out and such.

Then rule stupidity allows the player to score after the refs have blown the play dead.

Why?

The 100% absolutely correct call was made.

At best, you are arguing that Texas should be totally fucked over by umpire incompetence.

That's all on Martin. Odor was very aware and took off soon as the ball got away.

Exactly.

Odor was more than half way home when Scott waved it off. He was making it home easily if it was waved off or not

BTW - throwing stuff on the field is completely irresponsible, and should see the throwers thrown out.
