It's more the fact that he just simply hasn't pitched much. Can argue that it means his arm is as fresh as can be but he also hasn't been tested.

I kind of think it's generally tough to criticize a manager for being TOO aggressive in a must-win game.

Gibbons rationale for using Price and leaving him in so long was a bit illogical. He acknowledged the lead was big but said it was a must-win game and the best way to win a game is to not let the team back in it. Okay fair enough so far. Then when asked if Price would be available to come out of the bullpen in Game 5, he says that he won't be available. Apparently Game 4 is more of a must-win game than Game 5.

It was idiotic. Dickey was cruising along. The concern with a knuckleballer is unraveling with control. That wasn't happening at all.

As magical as this year has been for the Blue jays I still think Gibbons has got to go, he's not the best manager in the world. Still he'll get kept on because of the magical run which looks like it's not over just yet.

Using Price in relief isn't as big a deal as it's being made out to be. Gibbons probably knew Stroman was his game 5 guy. Using Price in relief and then saying he isn't going to be available Wednesday was likely his way of dousing a media frenzy around which pitcher should start game 5.

Also, Stroman would've been my choice too. Rangers are starting Hamels apparently so it's game 2 all over again.
