The only way any teams ever tops this offseason is if they lose a bus full of players over cliff on the way to training camp.

I'm sorry to say, but this is not a surprise given his resume of off-field issues. We were all hoping he could turn it around, but I for one wasn't actually expecting it to happen. Even with a 100% revived Aldon Smith, I wasn't expecting to see a good team on the field. This additional set-back just further confirms that.

Aldon Smith's career is over. And for his sake, I hope he goes to jail for a long time before he does something really, really terrible. This man has very serious issues.

I really liked Tomsula's comments on this:

"If one person out there reads this, and you're struggling, get help. Go get it. You're worth it. You're worth it! There's value in every human being. Get the help! You don't have to walk alone. Find it. It's there."

It really speaks a lot about where Aldon is right now in his struggles.

I don't know. imagine if some team comes off the ultimate high of a SB win just to get embroiled in some silly scandal that lasts all offseason, taints their SB win in some fans eyes and gets discussed in the media and on internet message boards more than all of these players that were arrested combined!!! Heck, maybe they even get their best player suspended and lose a high draft pick too. Won't happen I know, but it would be pretty bad if it ever did.

It may not have been Kaep's car, but it was confirmed Aldon and Kaep had to be broken up from a fight on the field Tuesday and that these rumors are all over that campus.
