Maybe the odds makers feel the Yanks aren't done making moves yet. Or they think that making it lower will lead to an avalanche of over bets.Which begs to ask, how is the Yankees o/u 92.5 games? assuming I read that right…..I’d never bet against the Yankees, but that number looks crazy right now…..
Jays clearly going for it. Love the aggressiveness. So now the Jays are talking with Cleveland about Ramirez to play 2b
They won 92 last year. Are they any worse this time around?? I wouldn’t bet the under and feel too comfortable....Which begs to ask, how is the Yankees o/u 92.5 games? assuming I read that right…..I’d never bet against the Yankees, but that number looks crazy right now…..

Lol. Just paid $6.50/gallon here a few days ago. Shoot me.I’ll bet you a gallon of gas on the under, should be around an $8 bet by California’s standards….

Red Sox placed LHP James Paxton on the 60-day injured list.
This is the corresponding transactional move to Jake Diekman's two-year contract becoming finalized. Paxton needed a second career Tommy John surgery last April and probably won't be an option for the Red Sox until closer to June or July. He signed with Boston in December for one year, $10 million guaranteed with $13 million club options for 2023 and 2024.
This was just a formality. He wasn’t supposed to be ready until the 2nd half of the season under the best circumstances.Who could've seen that coming?

Don’t let the headline fool you, Seat. Paxton was signed with the expectation that he would miss at least half of this season. They have 2 option years after this if he looks healthy and able to contribute. It might still be a shitty signing(and probably is, quite frankly), but he was never going to be ready for Opening Day.AWESOME signing! Just like the Chris Sale resigning a few years ago.. WTF are the Red Sox doing!?! They are so damn lucky the Orioles don't give a shit about baseball and play in the East

Yeah I remember hearing about that, however it's still a stupid signing when the Red Sox need pitching NOW
It's not like they knew Sale would suffer a rib injury months after they signed him.
Sox do need pitching now, but that doesn't make the signing stupid. Inconvenient, maybe.
I meant months after signing Paxton... but yeah, the Sale extension was rushedThey didn't and shouldn't have resigned him when they did. There was absolutely no need to extend him at that time.
Sale is a shell of himself. Then go out and sign Paxton who they knew wouldn't be ready and then Wacha who might maybe possibly give 4 innings
You nailed it. The pitching on this team is lousy, at best! Unless something changes soon, I think we are looking at a .500 team. They were very fortunate last year. Not seeing the same this year. They didn't and shouldn't have resigned him when they did. There was absolutely no need to extend him at that time.
