LeMahieu is your 2B, right? He’s won multiple gold gloves over there. Seems like a no-brainer?? Torres and Voit looking like bench guys at the moment...

Voit is gone. No way they carry him on this roster when a ton of NL teams are looking for DHs.

Torres started looking like his old self last year once they took him off short. I just hope they don't end up selling low on him, but something's got to give.

Torres did look much better once they put him at 2nd but that's a crowded infield at the moment.

Also, not to rain on the impending Toronto championship parade, but as good a defender as Chapman is, he hit .210 last year, K'ed 202 times, and his OPS has fallen every year for the past 3.

Im also sure putting him in the Jays lineup will help with his production. Also playing at a hitters friendly park

He still had a 125 wRC+ in 2019. I can forgive the shortened 2020, but the K% is a bit worrisome

And even with the down offensive numbers he was still a 3+ WAR player.

If Chapman stays healthy, worst case for him in Toronto is platinum glove level defense and 35+ homers with a low average and a lot of k’s.
