if that's the case, I do feel bad for him. Still doesn't make it right but I'd imagine most fans in his shoes probably cave to the peer pressure. The whole tradition of throwing balls back on the field is stupid anyway. Just keep the ball or give it to a nearby kid. A baseball's one of the best souvenirs you can possibly get at a game.

So sick of us getting the Sunday night games. ESPN's announcers are fucking dull.

Just a lousy series. Starting pitching was good though the inability to pitch past the 6th is a problem, especially for Perez. Despite the good ERA this season the bullpen makes me nervous, and they've had a rough couple of nights. The offense has looked pretty meh the last few weeks. Not a great feeling to start his big 17 game stretch

It would not shock me if that's exactly what he was trying to do. Just like the Red Sox fan on the Monstah throwing the ball back into the field and hitting Stanton as he was "running" around second...

Either way, it light a fire under the Yankees so that sucks...

Had the Yankees and under 9.5 runs last night. Feeling pretty damn good going into the 7th inning.

Even when they win, I lose.

@Pure Steel @nynasty if the yankees are still within striking distance of the East and/or WC after the upcoming 7 game road trip in Boston and Tampa then it is their time to make a move. This is their schedule the following 2 weeks

3 in Miami
3 vs Baltimore
4 vs Seattle
3 in KC

That is a 13 game stretch where they should set 9-4 as their bare minimum record

Both Yankees and Red so have crucial road trips for sure coming up. I am thinking this might be where the Sawx starters fall on their faces though... Pivetta certainly showed signs last night of falling off a cliff
