Thursday's game between the Yankees and Red Sox has been postponed due to positive tests COVID-19 tests for the Yankees.​

"Following positive COVID-19 tests within the New York Yankees organization, tonight’s game between the Yankees and the Boston Red Sox at Yankee Stadium has been postponed to allow for continued testing and contact tracing. " A release from Major League Baseball reads. The Yankees did not take batting practice before Thursday's scheduled game due to COVID-19 protocols, and now the game has been postponed. There's no word as to who has tested positive, and also no makeup date has been announced. Friday's game between the two clubs is still on, for now.

Unless a case of a false positive arises all 6 #Yankees players have to quarantine for 10 days. Loasiga’s clock started last week. But Judge, Cortes, Peralta, Urshela, Higashioka will miss lots of time between now and the 7/30 trade deadline as NYY tries to figure their path.
