Boston lost 2 of 3 this weekend vs. the Orioles. Not the type of result you want as you contend for a playoff spot. That and have your series this week vs. Tampa and next weekend vs. the Yankees.

Sox are 18-12 in their last 30... problem is is that the Yanks are 23-7 (not that the Sox have any chance at winning the division at this point) and the Indians/A's are 22-8. Twins and Rays are both 14-16 and I think the Rangers are 13-17.

8 days left to upgrade the rotation. The need for that has never been more apparent than the last few days.

Fun game and atmosphere. Playoff type feel in that sense.
