And a farm system with a wealth of talent still there. Remember the name Vance Honeycutt. He was an absolute monster in the CWS last year for North Carolina. Why he dropped to 22nd overall is beyond me.
I agree the Yanks pitching is definitely the best in the division, added Fried in to an already strong rotation gives the Yanks a top tier pitching staff. Bullpen looks strong as well. As for hitting, you guys have Judge who’s probably the best hitter in MLB and there should be a good amount of power in the Yanks lineup but I’m not sure about how consistent the hitting will be. Still I think you guys are World Series contenders once again. On the eve of pitchers and catchers, I think it's safe to say the Yankees have the best rotation and bullpen in the division. The offense is dependent on a whole lot of bounce back from Bellinger and Goldschmidt, as well as Dominquez finally making the leap to an every day player. I think it's also safe to say they have the worst in-game manager in the division, so while a lot can go right, a whole lot can go wrong. See: 9th inning game 1 and 5th inning game 5 of the WS. As talented as they may be, they have to play sound fundamental baseball or they won't win shit. I don't have a ton of confidence that much has changed from last October, but that's why they play the games.

Cleveland's odds might be the biggest surprise for me
I think that's more of a reflection on how strong Atlanta And Philly is.Mets only 17% to win the NL East seems low
Cashman always likes to build an all-star team of elite players from 5 years ago. Arenado might just fit that model! The Cardinals have reengaged with the Yankees to explore potential restructured deals for third baseman Nolan Arenado, according to Cardinals beat writer John Denton.
Meh
He can only play third. I guess they move Jazz to 2nd. Then what to do with Oswaldo Cabrera? For a 33 year old corner infielder making $32,000,000? They give up any hope of getting anything out of DJ. I don't really want him going to Boston, not for that price. But it makes a bit more sense, to get Devers away from 3rd base. The Cardinals have reengaged with the Yankees to explore potential restructured deals for third baseman Nolan Arenado, according to Cardinals beat writer John Denton.
Meh
It's a tough division and the Mets rotation certainly isn't without question marks. Braves and Philly are probably the #2 and #3 best teams in the NL behind LA.I think that's more of a reflection on how strong Atlanta And Philly is.
I wouldn't want to be a Marlins fan. Three of arguably the 5-6 best team in baseball are in their division. I think Washington is on the road back. Fishies haven't bottomed out yet.
take him. I'm sick of the Sox/Arenado rumorsThe Cardinals have reengaged with the Yankees to explore potential restructured deals for third baseman Nolan Arenado, according to Cardinals beat writer John Denton.

Why? He's not any less of a platoon player than Yoshida is, and I'd much rather keep Yoshida at DH than in the outfield. Not sure that's worth any defensive "flexibility" Turner provides. And I liked watching him in 2023.I was half-joking.... welp:
