at what point do the Sox cut ties with Nunez? He's been worth -2.3 WAR over his last 185 games. He can't hit, he can't get on base, he doesn't really run and he can't field.

Red Sox designated INF Eduardo Nunez for assignment.
Nunez had batted just .228/.243/.305 with nine extra-base hits (two homers, seven doubles) through 174 plate appearances this season with the Red Sox. The 32-year-old is in the final year of a two-year, $9 million contract. He'll probably pass through waivers unclaimed and will then have the opportunity to hit free agency.

I think Voit left his swing on the DL. Terrible AB in the 9th-even after getting a break on a clear strike 3, he takes another one right down the pipe
