Disagree. It's disrespectful to be stealing 3rd with a 5 run lead when you're already in scoring position on second base.

Yea, I've never seen Ortiz admire any of his HR's.

In other news, I saw a lop eared rabbit riding a scooter today., with a carrot in his mouth.

I never said he doesn't admire his home runs. But it's pretty obvious he wasn't sure if that HR was fair or not.

There have been much bigger leads than 5-run leads blown. I had no problem with the Rays stealing. "Unwritten rules" are just stupid.

If you were a player on a team, and your pitcher is throwing a no hitter into the 7th inning, would you go talk to your pitcher about this no hitter he's throwing?

disrespectful my ass. Baseball players act like 2 year olds. Who gives a damn if someone steals up 5 in the 8th. Maybe you shouldn't have been down 5 in the first place. Baseball players are the biggest bitches in all of sports. If you strike out someone and you do a fist pump it's a issue, if you hit a HR and look at it or 2 seconds it's a issue, if you bunt in a one run game when a pitcher has a no hitter it's some issue, and I can list many more

Not that a huge lead was blown, however with the Twins scoring 6 in the 9th yesterday. Apparently a 5 run lead would not of been enough.

Seager with a performance much more impressive than hitting for the cycle. A double, 2 triples, and a HR.

Lackey didn't have his best stuff, but even then, he did alright and gave the bullpen the night off. Sox just couldn't do much offensively tonight.

You act like nobody has done this since 1973 or something.

The division is done

How so? It's a long season broski. do you honestly think the Jays will win the East!? LOL

The Yankees, Sox, and O's will come around while the Jays sink back down to normalcy and our lone blue jays fan will disappear back under the rock he crawled out from under. just a matter of time, bank on it.

It's not. The Jays aren't without their flaws, though I think they could make the playoffs in some shape or form. There's over 100 games left to be played.

This team is stacked. They are firing on all cylinders. Last year they had crazy injuries and just didnt get it together. Right now they are playing some amazing baseball.

ANd again Ive been here since 2010 skippy.

Lol please. You used to constantly disappear on ESPN whenever the Jays struggled.

If there was any other team I'd "root" for to win the East, it would be the Jays. It would be great to see them return to relevance. But their pitching is still kind of blah, and Buehrle's stats scream "regression."

Me neither. I thought they'd steal the division in their unassuming way, when I made my pick for division winner at the start of the season.. Not impossible but, hooo, boy, they've got a mountain to climb.

I'm not discounting this Jays team. They've been respectable (.500ish) in years past when Tampa, Boston or NY ran away with it.

Plus, we all love a good dogfight to the end. And that it shall be!
