I'm wondering if they're trying to out-do Texas on the injury front.

Atleast Ortiz's absence from the lineup on Saturday was a prescheduled one.

Good thing for them is there is no Detroit or Oakland in the division right now. A 9 game losing streak ain't pretty, there's no getting around that. But it's late May and they're still only 7 games out of the division lead. They've got enough pitching that it isn't panic time. It ain't party-time either, to be sure... but it's definitely not panic time. More like...... concern time. Empahasis on concern.. as in, hoo.. boy... I'm kinda concerned about this!
