That's 13 more than the Orioles have had all season.

All season.

Detroit has drawn less walks that Baltimore.... Luckily it is still very early...

But having oly 25 is concerning - a little.... Only Hardy & Cruz are over 30 and sometimes the younger player need to learn patience... Do they like Presley?

Which is what will hold their lineup back. They should swat plenty of home runs (hell, they'll probably lead the league again), but how good are they if you don't have anyone on base? Imagine how good Adam Jones could be if he had some plate discipline.

My tired ass screwed that up earlier.. what I meant to say was it was 13 away from what the O's have had all season.

Yeah, no one seems to have any concerns with the hitting coach.. as of yet. I can't for the life of me understand some of the pitches Jones swings at though. Even though he's young, I can't believe how much we're missing Manny Machado being in the lineup.

I'm very eager to see how CC performs tonight against Price. With Tanaka and Pineda pitching lights out, I think the pressure is on him to step it up a notch.

The Rays were spanked this evening, literally.

And LOL at the Rays lineup. Where is that clown Stan that bickered with me for a week over how grand these Rays are? Only bat in the lineup tonight over .300 was Longoria

It is 1 of 4.....Will be shocked if Tampa doesn't win 2 of the next 3.

What we should be laughing at is the Blue Jays getting swept in the doubleheader today by the Twinkies

Koji U.. good work on the 3 Ks to end the game. If it wasn't for the fact that we got Chris Davis and, to some degree, Tommy Hunter out of trading you I'd be feeling really really bad about you not closing for my team.

That explains why Nova hasn't been pitching well. He needs Tommy John surgery.

But still the pen got rocked again.

That spells trouble... Who would have guessed Nova would be the one to go down?

Are they going to use Nuno?

My guess is nuno or Phelps and the pen was amazing yesterday. 7 innings, allowed 3 hits, 3 bb, 8 SO, and allowed 1 unearned run

Looked like Girardi was trying to stretch out Nuno yesterday. While Phelps was only in there for just over an inning. I would say they want Nuno to have first crack.

I was shocked when I heard Nova has a serious injury, but it's better it happened now and not during a playoff series. This way hopefully he'll be ready to go by April of next year.

Nuno or Phelps is their best bet going forward.
