Long way to go BK. And with the Pinida suspension our staff could be hurting. With Monday as an off day Joe can make it thru the first 5 days, but next weekend when we have to pitch Nuno then Phelps it is gonna be ugly.

That is true, too. As bad as Boston's pitching has been, New York's is still worse...

Pineda missing a week might be a bright spot as it will be warmer when he returns and he might not need the pinetar... Losing Nova really hurts. They now have to rely on Sabathia & Kuroda to pitch to their potential.... They are also hoping the league doesn't figure out Tanaka any time soon...

Ha! My little bit of smack-talk for the Jays. We took a close game and smacked their little bottoms tender!

Good!

Atleast you don't have Joba on your staff anymore. Remember the days when there was thought of actually making him a starter?

Phew! That's all in the rearview mirror now.

The league will figure out tanaka just how they figured out darvish....face reality which is that he's legit.

The yanks starters are better and Boston pen is better. The yanks one bad starter this season was actually nova as he had an era approaching 9

Red Sox keep getting to one game below .500 and losing the next game. Already feels like 2011.

Isn't it crazy how everyteam in the division is minus in run differential?

Yeah, but I'd be pretty shocked if at least one of Rays/Sox/Yanks actually finished with a negative run differential. Jays could if their lineup stays healthy.

Rays are on the downswing. I wouldn't be shocked to see them fall to last and have a negative run differential.

Even though Davis went on the DL, it looks like Machado will be coming back soon enough. Thank goodness. I hate seeing Ryan Flaherty in the lineup so much. About as much of a guaranteed out as you can get.

Also, after tomorrows game, we will get Patton back as well. He is much needed in the bullpen.

If tomorrow ever comes.. lol... these rainouts are killing me.

What's striking me is how much the AL Central looks like the AL East right now. It's a game of "who wants it?". So much back-and-forth and leapfrogging.

Damn interesting to keep tabs on, too.

That may have been the best game of Lester's career. 8 innings, 1 hit, 0 runs, 2 walks, 15 K's. He's now rocking a 2.59 ERA on the year with 58/10 K/BB in 48.2 innings in 7 starts. It's good to see him striking guys out again.

I'll never forget when Lester had a perfect game going against the Mariners back in 2010 until the 6th inning when Eric Patterson dropped a ball and gave up a home run after. Patterson sucked ass.
