#1 That's not my name.Sorry smarter than you but scherzer and darvish> Sale
#2 Why? Explain it to me, since I'm so lost.

I know we had our differences early, but we're in lock-step lately.
It's equally on me. As you can see, a lot of people don't take kindly to my approach to posting. I'm not exactly popular around here because I don't play nice and just agree with all the stupid shit people say.We did start off on a sour note. And that's on me. I get a little loose from time to time. Sorry for being a huge dillweed earlier in the summer.
I don't understand how a person can't understand that he's a great pitcher.I just don't understand the Chris sale love

Explain it to me too while you're at it. Cuz I'd prolly have to put Darvish at 3 or 4. Can't say if it'd be Scherzer or Sale at the top yet though. (Sanchez top 5 would be hard for me to do. Those innings...)
Yeah, K/9 doesn't examine control, so it's a completely different stat than K/BB.And that is where u guys are wrong. Doesn't k/9 tell a different story than k/BB. They both include strikeouts but are 2 separate stats. One compliments the other but they are 2 different stats.

ERA examines earned runs and innings. Quality Starts examines earned runs and innings. The only difference is that one is a rate stat and one is a counting stat. And that the counting stat is arbitrary.
No. It's not. Read it.Isn't "imsmarterthanyou" your name? Better ERA atleast for darvish who is no question better than Sale. more k's better whip, K/9 ect
It is solely because he does not include wins as a category. Which I do not understand at all
Again, marginally better ERA in fewer innings. Don't really see how that's more dominant.Don't really need to explain it. Prevented more runs than sale, more dominant. That's all you need to know really
You don't understand it because you don't know how to properly evaluate pitchers, as you've demonstrated throughout this thread. It is solely because he does not include wins as a category. Which I do not understand at all
And like I said, I understand the purpose of QS just fine, and you haven't provided any insight that would further my understanding. I took a shit about an hour ago that possessed more knowledge of pitching than you possess in your entire body.Like I said u don't understand the purpose of QS and seems like u are too stubborn to read my posts and learn something.

Great analysis. Can I subscribe to you?
You just rustled my jimmies with that comment. Lol stop being immature

How about you provide an actual analysis rather than just shouting with your fingers in your ears?
