Kopech had been struggling with his control his last few starts.

As a result the Twins came out with a excellent approach. Didnt score in the 1st inning but saw 28 pitches on 3 walks. At one point I think they swung at 1 of 17 pitches.

When the mistakes came deeper into the outing, we didn't miss. A lot of really good AB's and we didnt rely on the ABC trio.

Buxtons complete lack of situational hitting is getting really fucking annoying. Hes become truly homer or bust. Does not know how to work ABs, hit singles, use the opposite field to move runners.

Rest of the team through 2 innings having another great set of ABs against Sox starters.

Caleb Thielbar is a perfect counter example to this(Still dont love him though).

He entered todays game with a brutal 5.46 ERA but a 3.05 FIP. Which points to the fact hes probably been a bit unlucky and a product of a couple disaster outings. Rather than blowing 7 leads like Pagan.

Its crazy that Rocco doesnt look at shit like this, instead he just says "Pagans stuff looks great". Ok, idiot.

You got Thielbar/Jax/Duran/Megill all available forsure.

Those 4 guys alone can find a way to do the 5 innings needed especially since Jax and Duran go 2 each a lot.

Also points to the stupidity of Rocco using Duffey last night in a 8-2 game. As he should be another arm available but probably isnt throw both of the 1st two games.

We have to get him off the roster. He's literally the worst reliever in the game. There are AAAA pitchers who could do better than him.

I think Polanco is gonna always be a really streaky hitter. Usually goes in big waves.

Entered todays game with a very solid OPS+ of 114. Two tanks not gonna hurt that.
