The sad thing is.

The only reason this bullpen isnt a bigger trainwreck is because Jax has been a revelation in his conversion to reliever and Duran's raw talent has excelled immediately. Without those two completely unproven commodities. It would maybe be the worst pen of all time.

And the rotation is a mircale right now. But could implode or have health crisis at any moment.

The fact that Falvey thought this pen and Archer/Bundy were the proper signings points to the fact that he may still be on the Cleveland payroll as a double agent.

I will say Archer has been far better than expected. But we dont let him pitch deep, and his FIP says hes hanging on by a thread.

If Archer/Bundy completely implode. We are banking on Smeltzer not imploding as well. And Winder/Ober getting healthy. To just tread water.

Incredible that people can actually get millions to compile this pitching staff. I should be filthy fucking rich.

If you want to full blown punt then move Bundy's start back and face Bieber with Bundy and no Correa/Buxton. As it is instead, we are unlikely to win either game.

What bothered me the most in last night's game was bringing Pagan in in the 10th. When Baldelli did that, I thought, "Well, there goes the game." This team needs to settle on a closer, and not him. Maybe he could be part of a package that brings in a reasonable bullpen arm?
