When trying to get deadline arms. Kirilloff and Miranda are untouchable.

They will be very big pieces that other teams would want. Kepler could bring some talent. There are a few guys in the minors that are pretty good, although if they trade Matt Wallner, my girlfriend will be upset. She thinks he has a nice shimmy when he is in the on-deck circle.

Might be time to demote Torkelson. He just hasn't been hitting at all and it's not like his Statcast numbers are particularly encouraging (.242 xBA, .401 xSLG, .319 xwOBA). It's not so much that he isn't making contact than it is the quality of contact.

They probably won't trade a premium young arm in the division and likely would ask for Kirilloff and another high level prospect like Woods-Richardson. I don't think that I do that.

They aren’t trading a guy with four years of control to anyone most likely.

Other than Greene he’s the best talent on their major league roster.

Yeah, I didn't think it was too likely. There is no reason to trade young pitching when you are in rebuild mode unless you have pitching coming out your ears. The only team that even closely qualifies for that in the division is Cleveland.

Robbie Grossman, Andrew Chaffin, maybe Andrew Lange, johnathon Schoop, Eric Haas maybe Michael Fulmer. Harold Castro could be somebody else’s bench infielder, I guess.

That’s what Detroit could help somebody out with.

I hated Jake cave. But Cave has a .879 OPS in AAA. Contreras has a .710 OPS while hitting .221.

Seems like the classic case of a guy whose just better suited for a reliever.

He was a pretty high rated prospect. Hes had good stuff. It just plays better for 1 inning cause he can throw that nasty 99 sinker.

Got him for 2 more years as well. Love the trade, but it cant be the only trade.
