i don't follow our prospects enough to know

Lot of potential.

Lefty pitcher that gets lotta punch outs and rising.

Son of a MLB player with over 400 career homers who is mashing in A and AA.

And then a infielder who is most MLB ready of the 3.

I'm not going to worry.

He's a tool at times but phil Mackey did 20/20 years back with prospects and how few pan out but we refused to move them.

Looking at rankings solely of what we gave up, I can't find a complaint

Looking at rankings kinda collapses the move prospects cause they dont pan out argument though.

Because most people say when talking about top prospects and going too much off their ranking thinking they are untouchable. Now on the flip side, it looks ok to give up guys because they are not "rated" as highly coming into the year.

But right now, 2 of them are massively on the rise and the 3rd is already basically guranteed to be in the show either late this year or next year.

Its a big risk for a guy who hasnt been a guy and for a team that just fucking lost to the Tigers again because they have to keep starting guys like Nick Gordon. Shoulda traded that fucking loser.

Seriously, Gordon came up with bases loaded twice yesterday

Did he get us two runs in those ABs?? Yes

But he made THREE fucking outs.

The dudes best is the bare minimum.

When the Twins pulled off the deal for Fulmer. Why didnt they toss another prospect Detroits way for Chafin as well??

We could really use a elite lefty reliever that can also get out righties.

From the right side we now have Duran, Jax, Lopez and Fulmer who can go high leverage.

From the left all we have is Thielbar who is just back from IL and has better metrics than results. Chafin woulda been a hell of a support.

Something tells me this divison race is gonna stay tight all the way through. THese teams are all equal amounts of inconsistent.

All 3 manage to go 2-1 in home series against bad teams. 2-1 is solid, but of course none of us were good enough to sweep over matched oppenents.

Now all 3 teams have tougher 4 game series. Twins and Guardians play really good teams but at home. Sox play a much weaker Rangers team but on the road.

Don't see how we go 3-1 vs Jays. So kinda gotta hope for 2-2 and see what happens.

Steer was one of the best prospects in the Twins' system, but his path to the bigs is blocked by Lewis and Miranda. He is a 2B/3B and the Twins are pretty good at those spots. Encarnacion-Strand is a corner infielder with tremendous bat speed, but is a bit limited defensively. I like Povich, but he was expendable.
The Twins used their prospects to make their big-league club better and that is what they are for.
I'm glad they kept Wallner. He has been a Twins' fan since birth and playing for his favorite team will be quite a thrill for him.

Sorry about that. It was Hajjar in the Mahle deal. Hajjar is a guy that will occasionally try to throw the ball too hard and gets in trouble when he does. He is quite a ways from the bigs, but should get there.

From April 21st through May 24th the Twins went 23-8. So for 1 month they were basically the Astros/Yankees.

The rest of this season they are 32-41.

Weve been the Marlins/Rangers for much more of the season.

I wish they would have kept Cotton instead of Pagan. He cannot come into close games. Let him pitch all he wants in 9-2 games.

Seriously ha. Its not that hard.

It was the 6th inning which means the assumption is you need 4 innings.

We have a clear cut top 5 in some order of Lopez, thielbar, Duran, Fulmer and Jax. 4 of them pitched the day before(Because Baldelli is an idiot and pulled a pitcher who didnt need to be pulled) but most of them pitched really low stress. Megill and Cotton also available.

Why go out and improve your bullpen if youre gonna still allow the same guy blowing games to blow games. Theres no logic

Unfortunately, Cotton was DFA'd on Tuesday. It should have been Pagan.
But, the Twins brass doesn't consult with us before they make personnel moves........
