Lol our season is over

We got 6 games left vs Houston and NYY. We are fucked.

And we keep pitching Pagan.
oh i agree

AL Central is there for the taking.

I've felt some twins fans have been too hard on Rocco, but man, he should be on the hot seat

Rocco riding with Pagan as his closer as long as he was should have him on edge.

Of course now the Astros decide to blow a game. We need them to punish the White Sox next 3 games. Then have the WS sweep Cleveland this weekend.

Of course, Twins need to not suck ass vs KC and Texas. Escaped tonight.

Crazy not, probably around mid June the Twins had played 7 more games than Clev. Now, Clev is plus two on the twins.

CLE had to play a good amount of double headers, not many breaks too

Guardians with another brutal loss.

The fucking Astros choose now to become a shitty ass baseball team. Watch them sweep us next week though.

That's your own fault. Get a real drainage system. Target Field hasn't had that many doubleheaders in the past 5 years because the water drains immediately.

Boy did we need a series with the Royals. First time weve won 3 straight since late June. First 3 game sweep since Late May.

Have to get at least 3/4 vs Texas now before Houston.

This race for the least inept central team is wild.

4 in a row. Winning games we have to.

Ironically even though we are behind Cleveland. I want them to win the series this weekend with WS.

WS have a cupcake schedule.

Steven Kwan is such a great draft pick and find by the Guardians - 5th rounder- can absolutely rake.

Guardians are just at the beginning of turning over their team- so much talent still to come and having a very good year. They are definitely early with contention for the division.

White Sox just seem so dead-ass though

Talent wise- they are probably the 3rd most talented team in the AL after the Astros and the Yanks - but they just dont seem to have "it". That can change quickly---- with Cease, Koepech, Giolito and Lynn they have a strong rotation that is for sure. A good closer in Hendricks.

REally the key to their team though is Roberts and Jimenez. If both those guys are healthy and hitting they are a high level team. If they both continue to be injury prone and inconsistent- I dont give them a ton of hope.

Giolito's been pretty disappointing this year, though he just seems to be the victim of a very high BABIP allowed (.366; career .279). Lynn was also a major part of last year's success and he's seen his ERA+ go from 163 to 75.

The lineup also just hasn't been very good. They're 2nd in the AL in batting average, but they're near the bottom in walks so they're only 7th in OBP and they're also near the bottom in home runs. There's only six players with 150+ PA that have an OPS+ above 100 and two of them aren't even on the roster, one of them missed most of the season (Jimenez). Moncada is another one that's regressed from a strong 2021 season (from 116 OPS+ with .375 OBP to 69 OPS+ with .271 OBP). They also had a career year from Grandal who has seen his OPS+ drop by 92 points.

They should be playing better, but it's starting to look like they overperformed last year. The Guardians and Twins have also been playing better than last year.
