I have always though Albert Belle's a jackass & he got himself in trouble again. This is too damn funny. He was booked in Scottsdale, AZ. on 2 counts of indecent exposure (doug is already requesting an 8 x 11 glossy photo), 1 count of DUI for a liquor/drugs/vapor/combo & 1 count of DUI w/ a BAC of @ least .08. What a fucking idiot.

I miss going to games @ The Jake. Haven't been to 1 since since the 2005 season. Hey @SlinkyRedfoot you ever go to any games @ Canal Park?

I think if they kept last year's opening day roster intact they could have competed this year, but I can't blame the Tigers for the rebuild. They have a good manager that I have always admired and they have some young talented arms ... I am hoping they don't lose 100 games, but I will not be devastated is they do. I am also hoping they take their first series against the Indians or @SlinkyRedfoot is going to give me some dumbass avatar for a week.

The young arms are all 2-3 years away, I'm afraid. Also wasn't happy to see our big SP acquisition in the Verlander trade (Franklin Perez) get hurt in spring training. Hope it's nothing serious.

Perez is only 20. Extra caution makes sense.

Will be following top pick Alex Faedo in the minors this season. He's 22 and logged some innings pitching in college, so will be much closer to the Bigs than Perez.

Hell yes.

I can get to Canal Park in less than 15 minutes. It's convenient and cheap. I usually take the kids there a handful of times a season.

They do a lot of stuff for families.

It was about 5/10 minute drive from my house to the ballpark. If I wanted to drink during a game I'd just take the bus instead. Always a fun time there.
