I know that the division is very competitive this year, but it would be cool to keep it about baseball. I take 100 good posts about baseball, then 1,000 about personal insult and meaningless, unsubstantiated drivel.

Miami Vice actually would talk baseball, though. He'd provide stats and whatnot, too. I thought he was fun to have around because he knew enough to feel confident arguing about stuff, but he was dumb enough that you kick him around all day if you were so inclined.

Well, Fulmer looks healthy and so does Miggy. I am upping my Tigers 2018 win total from 59 to 63. Just barely gonna avoid 100 losses.

The hitting is decent, and team speed is better this season. Defense is kind of a wash. Candelario improves 3B, for sure, but that means Castellanos in RF. Al Kaline says Castellanos has made tremendous progress and may have the best outfield arm on the team, but he still makes "little mistakes". Anyway, it's not like Nick is replacing a defensive stud (J.D. Martinez).

The SP rotation is below average, and the bullpen, apart from our closer, is absolute garbage. Gonna lose a ton of games in the 6th-7th-8th innings this year.

I think if they kept last year's opening day roster intact they could have competed this year, but I can't blame the Tigers for the rebuild. They have a good manager that I have always admired and they have some young talented arms ... I am hoping they don't lose 100 games, but I will not be devastated is they do. I am also hoping they take their first series against the Indians or @SlinkyRedfoot is going to give me some dumbass avatar for a week.

I have always though Albert Belle's a jackass & he got himself in trouble again. This is too damn funny. He was booked in Scottsdale, AZ. on 2 counts of indecent exposure (doug is already requesting an 8 x 11 glossy photo), 1 count of DUI for a liquor/drugs/vapor/combo & 1 count of DUI w/ a BAC of @ least .08. What a fucking idiot.
