can't argue that his price is now high, but do like what Brooks has done and can still do....on the field. It isn't easy finding an every down OLB, so I'm ok keeping him one more year. Players can go down at any time, so we can't assume Lynch will simply take over all season.

Granted he had issues with the Coaches last season, regarding playing time. If that has potential to 'linger' and re-appear, then forget all of this.

Pretty obvious this decision caught the team off guard and didn't have time to prepare for it

Yea, and he also came to camp out of shape. He needs to come to camp in shape this year
