Are we really using what Harbaugh did in the Pioneer Football League as evidence to his football philosophy? It's a borderline high school conference.
The depth at WR and CB should give us some nice options in the 20's.
this
If a top CB drops I would not mind grabbing one.
We need Justin Smith's replacement at DE.
A RG would be nice.
QB, WR and OLB I would hold off because we'll resign Alex, Braylon, Ginn and Brooks.
I don't see us going QB late first round. It would be like saying Kap was a bust. I'm also intrigued by Tolzien. He could be a perfect fit for our offense.
Just like you are using blowouts against teams like SJ St.
Yep, that is really all I meant by the 49ers might not go QB in the 1st, just because with any luck it could be a 28-32 pick. Not so much saying that Kap is a bust, but it's doubtful a 1st round talent at QB would still be around so late.

yeah ok, the chances of "a QB Harbaugh really likes", is small in the 20's. but lets keep that option open?
there were what...four (Newton, Locker, Ponder, and Gabbert?) 1st round QB's taken last year and one more (Dalton) before CK. so not a lot of teams looking for another QB? then there's THREE projected 1st rounders next draft, so will three teams before 21st take QB?
Looking at the rankings they actually might all be gone by the time we draft. Jenkins could be the only guy left. It's gonna be too high for the guys like Fuller and Broyles. Our spot ain't looking so hot right now.
Man, if you had told me we were picking 28-32 before the season started, I would have assumed we traded our pick to Green Bay for a few picks.
You're the one that's trying to prove Harbaugh's offense is run heavy. Posting the pass-run differentials at Stanford and USD doesn't hold any significance when we're talking about Harbaugh in the NFL. X's point is that with a great QB, we'd be passing more. Considering the fact that we're 31st in the league in passing attempts per game, I don't see how that can be argued.
Oh, and that was a low blow.
other than QB, there's no one spot the majority agrees on? this means the team is ok all around, no glaring weaknesses.
this is a good thing drafting in the 20's, we can consider almost any position. we should be able to add a good prospect, just might not be the spot you prefer.
It isn't the spot that concerns me. It's the major talent drop-off in that area. They all look like 2nd rounders at the moment.
that area of WR prospects? yeah ok, but thats the beauty of it, we can go to another spot?
man, we're not used to drafting this low, we were spoiled all these years.

Being that it is our own pick and not someone else's.... its been a long time since we could say that.... and I'm not disappointed
