Crows Murdered the Steelers today.

Tomlin is on his way to another 10-7 season and first round playoff loss.

Trust The System.

Ravens finally put the Steelers in their place. They’ve been the better team this year & finally acted like it.

Unfortunately, RW was giving out Christmas gifts a few days early……
I’ll give him a pass for shitting the bed because thus far it has been rare. But even if they hadn’t coughed up those turnovers, they aren’t going to win games with a defense that could t stop Henry & allowed Jackson to throw 3 TDs.

Bengals have been bad this year - at least on defense for the most part - but DAMN how bad is Cleveland?
.
Their defense is good enough, but by the time they get the offense figured out (if they even do) the defense will be old and wilted...and they will be in the Bengals' shoes of needing a Burrow/Chase to carry the entire team.
.
Also - is there any other coach in the NFL that loves to FAFO with a 17 point lead like Taylor? From the start of the 2nd half until 8 minutes remained in the game - the Bengals ran the ball just 3 times. With a 3 score lead. Meanwhile, Cleveland did not respect the run at all and just kept bringing QB blitz/rushes and crushing Burrow. I mean - I get Burrow will get the lion shares of the play-calls, but up 17...3 rushes? Three?
.
Taylor would have been fired 4 years ago for his futile offensive system if not for Burrow's magic behind that abysmal OL and pathetic scheme.

You'll still beat the Steelers in the last game of the season to put them at 10-7.

With the trajectory of these teams why is it I see a Ravens/Steelers wild card week game.

Frauds. Same fucking song and dance, year after year. Shit wont change until the franchise has a re-set on the coaching staff, Tomlin needs to move on. But we all know that's not going to happen

Thank God for booze to get through that shit show today…….watching Old School now, Blue Pulaski looked better in the wrestling scene……

3 playoff wins since 2011. Last playoff win was in 2016.

I find it funny that everyone calling us spoiled in the offseason is no longer around when what we say comes true yet again. Happens every year. Rinse & repeat.

I get the issues with Tomlin, but I also think most of Pittsburgh's issues revolve around not having a franchise QB and having to consistently hit on draft picks from 20 and on in the first round. Sometimes it helps to suck for a year or two to restock the offense. As good as the Ravens front office has been over the years, they'd be in the same position if half the league didn't pass on Lamar.

GREAT POST....IMO, dead on solid NFL football point.
In the NFL, QB play is required, one would think even the most casual observer of NFL football understands this much.
The Pittsburgh faithful playing the head coach card is lazy. They know what you say is true.

the position of professional QB is changing right now... right before our eyes.
The position at the professional level is too demanding for 95% coming out of school, regardless of how well they can spin the football, and now even how well they run in the open field. Very few exceptions now days...even with summertime 7 on 7 throughout the land. The QB job has become a master's degree requirement for most.

Other than a select few college QB's each draft, the norm will become 25/26-year-old rookie QB's entering the NFL. NFL QB development is shifting towards 6 years of training. HS QB's will be advised to go JUCO for two years and follow up playing 4 years of D1 football.
On the Job training while transferring all the way for more UIL money.

What could go wrong?

Onward!!

We had Ben for a lot of Tomlin's bullshit. The playoff chokes, the late season losing streaks, the terrible bland and unprepared coordinators.

No playoff wins since 2016. Ben retired in 2022.

Remember that Ben had to deal with Randy Finchtner and Matt Canada too.

Also, in the Steelers' last five playoff games (all losses) spanning 8 years, they allowed the most points in those games than they did for the entire season. That points directly to coaching, from top to bottom.

The talent pool has always been there through drafting and FA, but they are consistently wasted with poor in-game management and adjustments.
