FUCK RGIII

I didn't even understand why the Browns picked him up. Then again I really haven't understood anything they have done since '99. I give him credit for making it to the 1st week of the season though. I had him getting injured after the 2nd preseason game watching game film.

Extremely low risk and potentially high reward is why they picked him up. 2 years and $15 isn't a big salary cap hit and if he stinks then they can let him go. Worst case scenario (I guess it played out last week) he's terrible or gets hurt and the team loses a lot...big deal, then we have high draft picks to rebuild the team. Best case scenario he regains his rookie year form and the team is suddenly a dynamic offensive threat.

I didn't mind the deal at all, but I also didn't expect him to be anything great.

But... Why?

Do you think that if you voluntarily put in all this penance for decades, eventually you will get rewarded with something? Something like a product that you actually enjoy watching and that makes some kind of logical sense?

I've hated watched shows before, but not for 17 years. This is just self-harm.

Loyalty, pride, maybe stupidity? I can't explain why I'm still a fan but I am. A few years back when Hoyer had them competing, it was incredible that they might actually have a non-losing season. Over the years, beginning when the dark lord moved the team, I've been more of a saturday football guy than sunday. I'm all in for college football and if the Brownies happen to win on sunday its icing on the cake.

Not a true AFCN team, but it did impact the playoffs in 2013, when KC missed a gimme FG to keep Pitt out of the playoffs:
