AFC West Teams: What Makes a Successful 2018?

So after week 1 anything change for people? I know Raiders still have to play tonight.

I would say the Chiefs showed about what I thought they would of an explosive offense that is going to be dangerous but will need to play in a lot of high scoring games. They got a bit fortunate that the Chargers' WR's forgot how to catch passes in the 1st half. Could have been a different game if they don't drop about 3 TD's in the 1st half.

Chargers look like they are going to struggle some in the secondary and the OL just looks pretty bad at this point. 1st game so not going to read too much into anything.

Broncos definitely missing a piece or two in the secondary that could bite them big time this year. The offense looks better than I thought it would at this point but turnover differential is going to be key moving forward.

Chiefs just have to hope that Eric Berry can help the CBs. Same ol song and dance with this team, Sutton and the secondary.

His arm and ability to make plays outside the pocket reminds me of Russell Wilson . You could be looking at the next gen QB. KC fans should be excited .

We are very close on a lot of our takes for each team. On another forum we were discussing the whole season from standings to playoffs and I picked the Chargers to get boat raced by the Rams in the Super Bowl.

That is wrong you can defend tendencies. Our SB in 2014 should give you a clue as to there is always a learning curve to weakness.

I know I will get blasted. but I still think NE is getting D calls still. No team goes this log without ad seasons. Look at McD's time here when it got bad what was the first thing he went after The other team's D calls.

I would lay $100 on it that there is a way to change out crystals in the two ways and get those calls.

@58crash I just want to let you know that the Broncos having 2 OL coaches on staff instead of just 1 was a Vance Joseph idea. He brought it up last year and had some of the coaches laugh at his idea but I would say it is paying off big time this year.

He was also a huge voice for the players that they drafted that are contributing big time at this point. So he isn't a completely incompetent coach. He is a completely different man walking around this year.
