The Chiefs ran a clear and obvious pick play in the 4th quarter for a TD... no call. Coaches will run plays like this and practically “dare” the refs to make the call knowing that they don’t like to make calls late.

I can recall the Ravens SB where their receiver got mugged in the end zone at the end of the game. Ref didn’t throw the flag. There was a lot of contact beyond the 5 yards but the refs tend to swallow the whistles late in the game. Coaches know that and will run plays that make the refs throw the flag knowing they don’t want to.

JEEzzuuzzzz........Even on the replay he was lined up beyond the TV blue line of scrimmage. All he had to do is look to his left and hewould have seen that the ball was behind his armpit. Blame him not the refs.

OR did yourfriend think that it's ok for the Chiefs to line up on the Patriots side of the ball....??

Yeah, he knows he was offsides, he knew the call was right, he was pissed at the player... You just can't make that mistake there...

it is strange how this game and their regular season match-up were so similar .

Pats dominated the first half in both. Mahomes looked shaky early in both.

After half in both, Chiefs offense kicks into gear and catches up, scoring exactly 31 points in the 2nd half in both games.

Brady wins the game on the final drive of the game.

No matter where you go there you are.....

Deja vu all over again.

Who knew Yogi Berra knew so much.

I think in both cases it showed the Patriots' experience.

The Mahomes first INT in the first game is a great example. The Chiefs did the EXACT same thing to Brady in the second game and he threw it behind the coverage incomplete.

But when the Pats did the same thing to Mahomes earlier in the 2nd half, refs correctly didn't throw their flag lol
The make up came when I think it was Flowers who hit Mahomes in the thigh and got called for a low hit. Well that and a half dozen or so pick plays the officials DIDN'T call on KC. Had they been called this game never gets to OT.
Calls went both ways, happens every week.

Trying the blame the refs when it's due to a player error is lame.
I think you're misinterpreting what I'm saying. I'm saying that the Chiefs were in the wrong on their one play they needed and the Saints weren't.

Yes I did. You are an honorable fan! :D
Its easy to blame the Chiefs for a lot of their own mistakes. There was a punt return for the Chiefs went backwards about 30 yards and Mahomes took some brutal sacks that took points off the board.

At some point, you have to play smart to win a championship.

Thank you again! :D There's always a luck factor to every game no matter how well played. Especially one as close as the game we saw Sunday night. Bad untimely penalties are part of the game as well.

Edelmans non-fumble on the kick-off was lucky as hell. It happens.

Was that not Hill? I loved that play.

I also love the fact the Pats basically don't even try for sacks all year and had 5?

But Chiefs who lead league in regular season in sacks (tied with Pitt) get zip. Zilch. Nada.

Jules the miracle worker.

He had the catch against Atlanta in the SB that was a miracle catch.

This punt thing never touched him and could have 4 or 5 different times. Miracle miss.

Waiting for his 3rd as everything comes in 3s.
