Adrian Peterson believes Vick would make the Vikings a playoff team. Is he right?

No, his field vision is not well above average. He gets happy feet as he attempts to go through his progressions.

And plenty of QBs keep their eyes downfield under a lot of pressure, any QB worth his salt really. It must be nice to blame everything on someone else, god knows no other talented QBs have ever had to overcome a poor o-line. A good QB compensates for a shitty line.

There is not a QB in the league who could put that Washington team least year at .500. They are that bad, and their coach was worse.

And the poor QB play didn't help.

It is not possible to be successful as a QB in that situation. It's simply not. With most QBs they're 0-16.

That's BS. Not every other QB throws throws directly at or runs directly in to defenders.

It's a fact. That team and franchise is a joke. They have three talented skill position players on offense, zeros starting caliber lineman, and as a whole less than half their team is roster worthy at all.

Excuses are for losers.

At some point the blame for his poor decisions fall on him.

Not bothering to read this read from the start. Cassel signed for two years for 10 mil. I really don't see Vick being a Viking this season. IMO the Vikes have more work to do on the defense and I would hope that is where the draft choices will dominate. That being said I have Manziel going to the Vikes in the first round as their future QB......sorry.

So Vick's dog ring/gambling shit shows are so bad in your eyes, despite him having done time and seemingly have changed his life for the better as a result, that you'll stop being a Vikings fan? But, you'll gladly cheer on Adrian Peterson, who has had what, 7 kids by 4 different chicks or something at this point? I'm sure Adrian has been an ample, and sufficiently present, father figure in all of his kids' lives. Were you also a Vikings fan when pieces of shit like Bryant McKinnie, Koren Robinson, or countless other less than perfectly model citizens were on the team? Or did you just take breaks from your fandom during those times?

The people on here who are still getting hung up over Vick's past life of the dog fighting thing are absurdly hypocritical. It wouldn't be so bad, if not for the fact that each of you is apparently an open fan of pro sports teams, including the NFL, basically all of which probably consist at least 50% of less than particularily great *people* in general on the rosters. Was Vick's dog fighting/interstate gambling ring a morally bad thing to do? In my eyes, absolutely, it was a very shitty thing for him to participate in. But, he has seemingly kept a clean nose since serving his sentence for it, and there are countless other players in the league who have done things just as shitty, if not shittier, than Vick, who get a free pass, or are largely overlooked in comparison. The main reason Vick gets so much heat for his dog fighting, vs. say guys like Terrell Suggs, who apparently held bleach over his girlfriends' face, threatening to blind her, is because the dog fighting was a unqiue case. It isn't every day an NFL icon gets busted for funding and participating in a dog fighting ring, but it's fairly routine to see players getting drunk or f'd up on other drugs and getting violent with people. Thus, the media latches even harder to Vick's story than the others, and groups like PETA obsess over it, drawing more attention to it than the other cases.

If Vick's past life would keep you from rooting for an NFL team he played for, then you shouldn't be a fan of any team, because I guarantee that each and every NFL team has at least several, if not more players who have done worse than Vick, while we will never hear about it, maybe because the player never makes it as big as Vick has.

Son, I have followed Mike Vick's career long before he hit the NFL, from his time in high school to his college years at VT. He is and has always been a piece of shit.

He had John Elway and a running game. That's why...

Look I'm not a fan of RG3 nor give two craps about the Skins, but I get stuck watching them a couple times a year and that team isn't even close. There OL has holes, (ask a Skins fan) they don't really have a solid RB, there defense is mixed with old and new, ( and the larger part is flat out old)

There owner is a nightmare that over spends (ask there fans) and "Shanny" is well past his time in the NFL (even before taken the Skins job)...

So your basing that "Shanny" is the bomb of a great coach cause Morris had a back that carried for over 1200 yds?

Passing game ranked 18th a defense that was in the 19th and 20th range, plus you factor in he mortgage the franchise with trading up for RG3 costing the Skins future picks for QB that they couldn't protect or fix a defense that couldn't get younger, faster or even stop opposing offenses......

RG3 was the only decent move he ever made.
