:yahoo:

One of only four players in history to hit for the cycle three times and the only one to have all three in the same ballpark.

Josh Hamilton to the Angels. Meets Albert Pujols. Gets really good drugs. Brings them back to Arlington. Gets Beltre upgraded.

Beltre is untouchable. I don't think you can find a better example of what a big leaguer should be in baseball right now.

Oh, I think that'd be real easy.

There was a time when Beltre was my favorite player on the Dodgers.

God, dammit.

Getting out of pitcher-friendly ballparks did him some good.

Beltre's been worth 28.8 WAR over the course of his contract. He's got a 134 OPS+ while playing the usual sexy defense at a pretty demanding position. If anything, Beltre's been an absolute bargain.

No kidding. You're absolutely right about that. Seattle was not a good place for his home run stats, but looking back he did better than I remember thinking at the time. But back then, I didn't know anything about SABR stats.

That 2004 season with the Dodgers though... Good lord...

Beltre and Andrus are my favourite couple ever.

I'm obviously a homer, but Ryu/Uribe was the best while it lasted. They don't even speak a single word of each others languanges. But yeah, Andrus and Beltre are hilarious. Every clip of them together is gold.
