The ABA was fun to watch. If memory serves, there was a time where you would see more Red, White and Blue basketballs on playgrounds than regular basketballs, even though the ABA didn't have anywhere near the popularity or attendance of the NBA.

I'd almost be willing to bet that the sales of ABA basketballs kept the league in business for a couple of seasons longer than it otherwise might have. lol
