A-Rod and Braun among others will be suspended

Just got a text alert from Sports Center that they have learned the both Alex Rodriguez and Ryan Braun among others will be suspended for their roles in the Biogenesis clinic



(Yes I know I already started this thread but the first one I did not realize was only on the Rangers team board)

How many more players will be suspended? How long will the suspensions be? This could get very interesting!

And yes.... I am sure Red Sox players have taken steroids

The players who might ultimately face discipline from MLB include: Rodriguez, Braun, Melky Cabrera, Bartolo Colon, Yasmani Grandal, Nelson Cruz, Francisco Cervelli, Jesus Montero, Jhonny Peralta, Cesar Puello, Fernando Martinez, Everth Cabrera, Fautini de los Santos, Jordan Norberto, and a number of players who are either identified by code names or whose names appear in other documents not obtained by "Outside the Lines." All are currently on major-league rosters but for Puello, a top outfield prospect for the New York Mets who is playing in Class AA Binghamton.

One player listed who will be scrutinized but possibly exonerated is the Nationals' Gio Gonzalez. Gonzalez was listed among Biogenesis clients, but two sources told ESPN that the only substances he received from the clinic were legal.

Okay, I must be missing the obvious. Regarding Melky Cabrera and Ryan Braun, this offense is separate from their first suspension? If so, they should really get allot more than 100 games. A-Rod should be banned for life today.

The season's 162 games long. Most team have played about 57. If the suspensions are 100 games long and comes out next week, the timing isn't that weird at all.

I also believe that Grendal, Melky and colon were all hit last year with this info playing into their cases, so they should not get hit again for this, right?

Braun's first offense was nullified, so this should TECHNICALLY be his first strike.
