You can say the same thing but the Jays were manhandled in their 2 losses. The Yankees on the other hand had both games there for them. Probably win if not for the Drew mistakes last night to give the O's life and probably win on Tuesday if Betances & Miller were available. The Jays on the other hand were defeated by 13 runs in the 2 losses....not exactly the same.

I only made the comment because both games were close. I would not make the same comments if we got destroyed as the Jays did.

Thursday's game between the Blue Jays and Yankees was postponed due to rain.

The first place showdown will have to wait for another day. The game will be made up as part of a single-admission doubleheader on Saturday. Thursday's scheduled starters, Luis Severino and David Price, will presumably be pushed back to Friday.
