Actually I was just stating what your point was BK. At this point I am down on the Yankees and do not think this team can win a series.

I mean you're probably right but having Tanaka go in 2 of the 5 games can make a short series very interesting. At this point I rather face KC in a short series over Toronto. KC bats obviously doesn't put as much fear in me as the Jays

Yeah but shutting down a pitcher in September doesn't sound like he will be ready by October. I'm just guessing but I would assume he's out for until the LCS (if we get there) unless he starts throwing by next week at the latest

I didn't think of it that way. Good point.

If we get pass the WC game, I would want the Royals first and hope the winner of the Jays/Astros series had used up their pitching to the point of giving us a chance. But I think we are right now at best the fourth best team in the AL, and the other three are all going to win their divisions.

I may be a homer but I think were better than the Rangers/Stros. We just get too down when the Jays kick our ass.

Call me crazy but I think if we leave Toronto only 2 games out next week, we have a solid chance of winning the division

After talking on here as long as we have with each other, I think we both know that both of us can be big homers. I hope that it is just the second part of your comment that is eating at me right now.

The vets have giving us a great swan song for most of their careers, and we have gotten a glimpse of the future with Didi, Byrd, Saverino, and Perilla. Even missing out on the WC, we have had a better season then we should have. But after the way the summer went, we are all hoping for more.

:noidea: Alright how you doing Crazy?

I mean it is very unlikely we leave Toronto 2 games out considering they're going to sweep the Braves. We need to sweep Tampa and win 2 of 3 vs the Mets. Try to enter that series not further than 4 out and win 2 of 3.

Schedule really favor the Yankees after that series so anything is possible if the yanks can stay in striking distance. Last time we went to Toronto we did well.

Need to have a positive mindset

I have stated on here a few times about the way Tornoto has performed in past years and earlier this year, where they go on a run then revert back to a subpar team. I look at the division this year and think Toronto made the moves they needed to make to win this year.

My main hope right now is that Cashman made the right moves at the deadline by holding onto our youngsters. The reason we won so much in the late 90s was that Stick told GS that he wasn't trading away the youngsters. Hopefully we have another class close to what we had 25 years ago.

Going to be interesting to see how Toronto does without Tulo, still their lead in that division might be to much to overcome at this point.

They had another long win streak and while they hiccupped afterward, they've only lost 10 games of their last 39. This is definitely a different team.

As for the Yankees, yes, Cashman made the right moves. The reason Toronto could make the moves they did was because their farm was deep as fuck. The Yankees aren't as deep, but they might have more MLB-ready and about to be ready talent. Reason enough to stay the course, even if there was a shot at glory this year.

Talk about clutch.

2 out RBI double in the 9th for A-Rod to tie it

Just do not get the logic of putting this Mitchell character in a 1 run game in the 8th over Betances unless you're trying to lose. Makes zero sense

Enter the 8th down 1 and now with 2 outs in the 8th we're down 3

Jays and Yankees both lost last night, hopefully the Jays will win tonight, can't lose 2 in a row against the Braves when games are important like they are right now.

Pretty sure they won't lose again to the Braves.
