The Angels had a better record than the Tigers in 2012. And Trout had a .900 OPS in Sept/Oct. Angels had a better record than the Tigers in September/Oct.

Its been around 50+ bad starts for Verlander, not buying it. But he will have at least 1 more good to great season in the next 5 years. figure TJ and a year to recover is next, maybe 2017 or 18 he is going to look great again.

Verlander is now my new Fielder, just seeing him fading away. Fielder will be lucky to have 1 good season left in him.

I knew I could count on douggie crying about MVP. Actually IMO triple>home run plus he had a double. I wouldn't have blamed them for picking Miggy but I don't think they did wrong in picking Trout. At least they didn't give it to Jeter.

I dont get this, instead of needing two hits to get a run you need one. Its an instant run, and solo shots can lead off rallies. There is nothing more valuable offensively than hitting a home run.

Nos I love triples as well but in no way does a guy hitting triples have more value than a guy hitting home runs.

Funny thing is trouts ball probably traveled further.

2 hits to Miggys 1 and he accounted for 3 runs and miggy only two.

did you notice the ball Miggy hit??? with trout on 3rd. the pitch was inside off the plate. Miggy does what he has to do. drive the ball so mr overrated can score. he drove it...into the seats. word!


trout butchered one ball git to him in the field. then came in on a routine ball. Harold Rynolds had to tell every body...trout closes on a ball better than any body in baseball..then when trout fouled off a low pitch..rynolds said..no body hits the low ball in baseball better than trout. never mind it was fouled off!! Trout is FOX boy. sad you can see how they are marketing him....

Porcello wont be traded. maybe andy Dirks. andy is a real go getter. lot of teams want andy. he is almost ready to come back and help this tiger team. He has to be a better choice than Don Kelly at clean up!!! V Mart should return soon. so that is a moot point any ways.
