The fun part about Coors is it has the most sq footage in the league. They can't really move out the fences. I guess they could make them taller or something.

There was an article a few years back that suggested they should move the fences in to cut down on all the doubles and triples, give up a few more home runs yes, but take away all that open space that leads to hits that are outs in most ballparks. The fielders just have too much to cover.

Man -- I've been pretty spot on this year with my baseball talk. From talking about the Tigers running away with the Central, to questioning how JD Martinez hit 10 HR's in 17 games, because he is terrible. Pair that with my sweet move of dropping George Springer after watching the Tigers/Astros series, because there is no way he hits HR's in the MLB with a swing as long and violent as he has.

To sum it up:

Detroit lost like 7 game lead and first place to KC.

JD Martinez is now hitting over .300 and is arguably the best hitter on the Tigers not named Cabrera or Victor Martinez.

George Springer now has 13 homeruns since being called up for the Astros, while I'm stuck fishing the waiver wire to find a competent OF for my fantasy team.

Not having a good year in my thoughts on the MLB

I only use ESPN for basic stats (numbers). The younger generation like you seem to enjoy FanGraphs and all these fancy charts.

He has actually hasn't been bad and has been doing his best Pedro Alvarez impression in June:

I realize he had a homer..still batting .176 ish...not only hasn't he hit but his outs are horrible was my point. Pop ups, so swing for the fence every time up will solve his hitting problems, if he gets one, all is ok?

Granted bases were loaded in a tie game with 1 out when the 2nd pop out happened, frustration set in.

wow, can't believe the Royals actually came back on Iwakuma...that guy has to be one of the top underrated pitchers in the league (along with Fister of course, lol)

got a chance if they go to Furbush soon..

Yeah iwakuma is definitely under the radar good.....but i missed out on a win for him in fantasy thanks to the royals comeback.
