Sale had a great effort tonight. Scherzer's was just a little better. Neither disappointed. White Sox bullpen, however...

Beckham not making the barehanded play and two runs scoring was a fluke. It should have been 2-0. There it is, struck him out looking. First career CG, first career shutout for the CYA winner. Sale was his typical excellent self. Just caught Max on what might have been his best start. (3hits and a walk, but ALL nine innings. Didn't think he had it in him.)

Ahh okay, I only took a quick glance at the box score. I only knew that Sale was done after 7.

Sale was awesome. But Miggy got two RBI on an infield single. Should have been an out, or a single and an error. The 4th run was legit though.

and though it's hard to consider a 5.2 inning start his "best," this might be his most memorable IMO. He didn't have his best command, but 14 K's in 5.2 innings is just ridiculous.

I can remember the entire afternoon from that As start. Listened to the whole thing on the radio while getting sunburnt. (Sunday of Memorial Weekend I believe.). So, yeah, you're right, that might be his most memorable. Couldn't be happier that he finally got a CG.

I've been a "Scherzer Doubter" since the big trade. When he's at his best, I hear ALL about it. Hahaha. That camping trip I did a lot of listening to "believers". Im all ears again right now.

Not surprised. I love that Gardy says Pinto needed at bats when he was busy letting Pinto sit on the bench in favor of a washed up Jason Kubel.

I still like Pinto's bat a lot and think he's their catcher of the future.

so. Tigers still in first in the Central. came into Chicago ahead of the south siders by 4 1/2 games. after tonights game. sox will be 3 1/2 game behind. so. why the drama? finny yankee homer fan is talking chit...while the Yankees are 4 1/2 behind the blue jays.


does Verlander suffer from Ausmus not smart enough to take him out? does this leave the former Cy Young winner and MVP off the ALL STAR team??? I think not

Im a huge JV supporter, but hes not all star worthy this season.

Im still glad Old Smokey is sitting back enjoying his golden years. Ausmus has a lot of running us out of innings, not bunting guys over, leaving starters in too long, using Coke and the like before I get too worried about him. Im still not really worried about anything really. Just didn't expect the club to be in coast mode so early. Cruise control woulda been a good idea for a couple months first. But what can you do?

Hes also a rookie manager. Im not ready to hang the guy yet in mid june.

Find this post extremely hilarious! The guy cheers for a team that has had the highest payroll for years to no avail. Buying rings fails why? They were the choke artist many times and suddenly it's other teams that choke.
