I was somewhat shocked sale was left in as well with his pitch count where it was at the time and showing signs of fatigue the previous inning. Guessing it might have something to do with the pen tho.

former Cy Young winner .most remember how he struck out reggie Jackson in the world series.


I went to the same schools as bob. he was a couple years older. I remember watching him play. the kids used to line up and the bicycles and watch him pitch. You could tell he was so much better than the other players. you knew he was going to be a MLBer.
he was a good guy. always had time to say hi to the kids.

Not surprised. I love that Gardy says Pinto needed at bats when he was busy letting Pinto sit on the bench in favor of a washed up Jason Kubel.

I still like Pinto's bat a lot and think he's their catcher of the future.

My issue is it's not like Pinto is 21, he's 25 the future is now, but Gardy is an idiot so it's not surprising...
