I think you are getting a little dramatic here but it was an amazing game and I can only imagine how awesome it would be to be at that game. I've been to some Twins playoff games and most recently Wild so I know how great any atmosphere can be much less one with that great comeback.

As I said while me, Nos, Bronco and Gandy were hear watching the game. This game was a lot like the Twins/Tigers 09 game. Sadly I wasn't at that game but the bar atmosphere was almost just as good insane. That game was also a true roller coaster(sadly, some umpiring eventually came into play lol).

You seem to be getting a little defensive though. Enjoy the win and the fact you were actually able to be there live because I loved it just watching on tv as division rival fan.

I think every fan has their own interpretation of a huge game and moment for them. It wasn't do or die but Magglio's 06 walk off was probably a pretty special moment for tigers fans for example.
. Okay, time for us to agree now.

Not trying to take anything away from KC, but it was a WC game. They have to win 7 more to get a chance to win for more. Great win, no doubt. But..... The As losing on Tuesday didn't trump the As losing on account of Maggs walkoff.

If that doesn't end up being the best sports moment I attend, I'll consider myself lucky.

I agree Magg's walk off was incredible, as all walk offs are, but the Tigers still could have played another game to win that series and get to the WS. It wasn't do or die. There could be a pretty good list of "walk offs" not that big of list of "do or die walk offs". Its a sutle difference but an important one. If Magg's was in a game 7, then I could agree, more like Joe Carter's walk off.

That's what you said.

And I've informed you he played FOUR more games IN THE FIELD than Davis, three times now.

But as said many, many times now as even Howie confirms. None of his playing time was in place of torii . Doug said due to Davis being hurt "now torii has to play everygame". Hunter was going to play every game of this post season(barring injury) no matter how Davis felt.

Idk why this is still going on. Arguments are based of opinions than can be argued. What I am stating is a fact. Davis doesn't effect torii's PT. This should have been left at "dumb Doug strikes again".

Maybe he meant Don Kelly (whos better defensively than both)would have to play center?
So he wouldn't be able to play right?

Im not going to make a habit of trying to guess what Doug thinks though. Too much to think aboot.

I see where you're coming from with this.

So funny two nights ago while Bums and Moose attended a game. Two Twin and Tiger fans joined forces for the Royals. Now that Tigers are actually going to play I am seeing some hate coming out for the Tigers on this board. I myself love this. Just shows me with or without a ring, the dominant team is hated in this division.

People look at stats a lil to much these days. Reading through this debate of Torii and Davis the eye test goes further than stats.

Hockey talked of Arcia being good and Gardy sucking because you as a fan see your team day in and day out.

Bums and Moose seeing weaknesses of Royals on daily basis holds more water than a outsider spewing stats to convince me. Aoki was huge in them making a late run. Watched many games. They have both admitted it also. He sucked earlier and was huge late this season.

You guys carry on... I saw JV step up late and be huge for his team late. His stats show otherwise. I like the eye test much better than just stats.

I don't see any tigers hate going on at all right now lol.

There is obviously some Doug induced tension. But I haven't said or seen anything directed as negative towards the kitties.

I for one will say the Royal and A's game was the best win or done game I have witnessed in my life. Three comebacks was fucking awesome. Not just one late surge but three individual comebacks. Then to boot the early ABs of Perez made it even greater with him getting the walkoff.

Overcoming a huge manager decision, a kid pitching just removed from college... So many little things added up for me to just pace the floor of a hotel room cheering for a team that is not even my favorite. This game sucked me in early and was awesome to watch.

Funny you respond as if directed at you.

Just trying to lighten it up a lil. I myself will cheer for any team from central every year in playoffs. I do the same in BIG14. Sucks but I cheer for even OSU in bowl games. Only makes the conference better to win.

It could only be directed at me or Bums lol. If you havn't noticed the Indians and White Sox are out of representatives. And me and Bums are the only ones who have posted between Me, Nos, Moose and Bums.

So unless you are talking in some weird 3rd person and directing it at yourself and Tigers fans....rocket science was not necessary in seeing who you were attempting to refer to.

Last thing regarding this whole Torrii/Davis thing(seeing as both are going to be playing). This is also just my personal opinion and nothing off fact. When the Twins are playing the sox the eye test makes me fear Torii much more especially in regards to where he is in the lineup. With Davis you expect to get him out at the bottom of the order. With Hunter its we NEED to get him out..because trouble is lurking. Miggy hits the Twins and everyone good enough no matter what, it seems he never gets out if the guys before him get on though..

And bolded the Arcia bit to continue to stress my point of carefully reading my posts to Doug. I told doug he picked the wrong series to bash Arcia's defense...overall he's pretty goddamn bad in the field.

I will be rooting for the Tigers against Baltimore, I will majorly be rooting for Coke to never see a batter. I will be on board with the Tigers as long as it isn't against the Royals or Dodgers. Coke gets in a game when it matters, I will be pissed at Detroit. Good thing is, him and Krol are the only two Tigers I dislike this season.

SOOOOOOOOO typical. 14-pitch AB for Kinsler, followed by a 1-pitch AB for Hunter.
