Your nuts, seen Pedro and Randy Johnson and many veteran SP's (not rookies like Ventura) come in and save critical games for teams. I would be ticked if Duffy doesn't come in over guys like Liam, Collins, or any average RP. You want guys with STUFF when it counts.

Yeah but you're talking about a guy who has pitched like 1 inning vs the Twins in about two months who doesn't normally pitch in relief as it is.

One inning since the end of July man. Why would I have faith in him to do well entering a game with inherited runners? Had he been able to do a rehab assignment I might think of him as equal to the three suckwads at the backend of the bullpen. But he didn't have that luxury.

Anibal Sanchez is not Pedro or The Big Unit when healthy anyway. (You're comparing Duffy to the bottom of the bullpen barrel. Would you want him over Herrara, Davis or Holland?)

Go Royals! (Glad that only counted for one loss.)

Ponder shouldn't be in the league next year.

Hopefully his wife can get him a job at ESPN

Anyone but phucking Ponder, probably my most hated Viking in 40 years of being a fan of the team...

How did they draft him 12th? I would love to see the list of QB's drafted behind him that year

Thanks

Wow Gabbert was selected 2 spots ahead of him. Jags and Vikings must feel like shit

Holy shit that was a terrible draft for QB after Cam. The only other QBs drafted I would want on my team from that draft starting for me would be Kaep & Dalton.

Here were the other QB's taken

Locker, Gabbert, Ponder, Mallett, Rick Stanzi, TJ Yates, Nathan Enderle, Tyrod Taylor, and McElroy

Now Moose gets a game winner, this post season has already been worth it.

I honestly am pretty concerned after watching Herrera and Duffy tonight. Neither looked like they were all there. Duffy cruised eventually just because he has been nails this year, but he was not at his best.

Herrera will most likely be out the rest of the series, Finnegan can take over his role, Duffy will be fine, in relief. Guthrie looking like a 4th if needed looks fine now.

...your more of a Royals hater, or just a hater of me, than a fan of baseball.

It was a do or die 1 game, not just 1 game out of 162 or a 5 or 7 game series. If you need help understanding that, your view of baseball games is quite askew.

since 1969, Royals vs Tigers....almost IDENTICAL playoff history, if you want to talk HISTORY including both teams, not your definition of History-"hey last 6 years"

Royals WS games weren't as incredible as this game, any of their past playoff games were not like this game...and any of the tigers or ANY TEAM of the league including my Dodgers as well....if you look at this game as an ACTUAL BASEBALL FAN and not a fan of one specific team...it had everything...without any "umps" deciding it, without any "errors" deciding it...as pure baseball game as you will ever see. The "Pine Tar" game was dramatic but not for the pure game. Game 6 of the 85 series was a comeback but ump error played a major role.

Please feel free to list ANY TEAM and the game that saw a team come back from behind 3 times in any actual do or die game not impacted by a billy buckner moment or ump call.....and when you can't name especially any Tigers game in their, entire history even before the Royals came into the league. Go to bashing this game with stupid nonsense.

I still think Toronto's Joe Carter's game 7 walk off HR in the WS was the best comeback game I have ever saw, and still sorta is but they came back only once in the game.[/QUOTE

Huh? A royals hater, lol. Didn't I just say I was rooting for them and how awesome that game was. Lol wtf

I even told doug he isn't a baseball fan if he can't agree it was awesome but saying it's more meaningful than advancing to the world series is ridiculous. You are the Doug of the royals bro
