Doug there is not enough heart in a valentine candy factory for that pen. Ausmus being taught how not to manage early in career. Just maybe one year when the Tigers have a BP. He can manage it better.

DD tried many changes to pen this year. Not sure where or why the curse started but there is bad ju ju in Motown BP. I love the Price trade but he doesn't for the BP.

Doug, your truly seeing the difference between bought wins and heart wins...3 consecutive extra inning games and game winning hits by Perez, Moose and Hosmer, your boys. I hope you have a better understanding of HEART.


The last 2 extra innings wins were not as good as the first, because it wasn't a DO OR DIE, Laker, just to help you understand.


Ventura showed a TON of heart coming back and pitching incredible after the Yost disaster.

Royals just bring up a guy with 5 minor league starts at rookie ball and a few relief appearances at AA and he is becoming a media love affair the way they keep talking about him...good for him.

This is awesome for the Royals. I love that little bastard Gore!!! So funny how unstoppable he is even though you know he is going, right away.

I was a little pissed Hosmer hit that homer only because I had already convinced myself once Cain got on that Hammer was gonna go yard!!!

I still think Game 3 is HUGE for the Royals. Big Game James vs Wilson who has mostly sucked ass. You really don't want to rely on Guthrie to close it out in Game 4.

Because then you gotta go back to LAA where they finally got momentum. I just looked though, is Weaver really going to go again in Game 4 on 3 days rest? Didn't see that coming, then again all moot if James goes out and deals.

I always overlook bullpens when I pick series' outcomes but the bullpen is essential and the Royals certainly have it

I find the whole Ausmus at fault overboard.

Last week all I heard was Soria should be the closer and Ausmus is stupid to stay with Nathan. Well maybe he stayed with Nathan because he knew Soria's pitches lacked pop and he was very hittable!

Al A should e the setup guy was all I heard on the radio yesterday! The man is wild and melts down every other appearance. He hardly pitched in September and the thought Ausmus has his guy is stupid! Maybe just maybe the guy that is with the team everyday knows more about his team than the so called talk jockeys on the radio!

The bullpen is an abortion! Chamberland, Nathan, Soria, and AlA can't be counted on. Sanchez has not pitched since returning and if you leave him in for a third inning and he gets shelled or injured your a boob.

I can't say Ausmus is the fault the Tigers are down 2. He has made questionable moves but with what he was given to work with all moves are questionable. Benoit>Soria and Miller>Chamberland both moves Dave D didn't make.
