Was at the game in RF inside the bar. Was rewarded handsomely in the 9th.

How is the bar situation at Kaufaman?

I utilize the RF bar at Comerica for the bathrooms if Im doing standing room. But drinks are more than at vendors. Cleveland's leftfielder line bar/restaurant looks like a good spot to take in a game, but I haven't done it yet.

Picked a good one to go to Moose!

It seemed pretty nice. Can't say I sampled any drinks though ( I brought bottled water to the game to avoid the obnoxious stadium prices) as my brothers, and few of their friends from back when they were in college/HS, had a good time though. Nice place to relax and kick back if it isn't packed.

Along with Kluber, the Indians could be a fun team to watch next year. House should be a good back-end starter with his extreme ground ball tendencies. Carrasco finally looks like he's becoming a useful player, though whether he's a major league starter is still up in the air.

At least the Yanks still have 3 guys that can somewhat qualify. Twins have Yankees cast off Hughes and maybe Gibson if you want to get cocky.

I saw that post and agree. Mccarthy ugh, and kuroda is not as kuroda like as in the past. That rotation isnt scaring anyone.

That really depends though. I don't know who values innings if those innings have lead to a year of sucking complete and utter ass.

Both are flawed alone.

I mean Chris Archer for example has less wins and innings than JV. It doesn't take those two stats to know who is actually the better pitcher. Cobb for the Rays is another great example

Being able to eat up innings in my opinion is definitely very helpful to the team especially when their pen has been so atrocious. Being able to eat up innings with that godawful ERA though? Questionable.

You have to love baseball. McCarthy goes to Bronx and is solid. Samardzija and Hammel go to Oakland and people start crowning them and Hammel sucked balls and Jeff has been less than stellar.

Jeff had a 3.21 ERA in his first 8 starts with the A's. Then he got lit up by the Mets (3.2 IP, 7 R, 2 BB, 3 K). Then he pitched a gem against the Astros.

I did say a while ago that I thought people were overrating Samardzija a bit, especially in calling him an ace. Right now, 2014 is pretty much his first good year.

While 3.2 isnt as impressive as his ERA in chicago its still excellent. 2014 is his first good year of many barring injury. The guy is a stud, even though he broke out this year hes clearly shown how talented he is in previous years. As a tigers fan if we make the offs not looking forward to oakland. They should be the faves in the AL.

Unlike James Shields who the Yanks own, Price is actually usually pretty good against the Yanks.

Entered the night 10-5 with an era in the mid 3's in 24 starts against the Yanks

2nd time this year he gave up 10+ hits vs the Yankees this year though so he's not having a good year against the Yanks
