Great research, I think bauer will be elite and him and salazar could provide a very compelling 1-2 in cleveland in a couple of years.

Along with Kluber, the Indians could be a fun team to watch next year. House should be a good back-end starter with his extreme ground ball tendencies. Carrasco finally looks like he's becoming a useful player, though whether he's a major league starter is still up in the air.

Salazar should bounce back and be pretty damn good. Bauer is average at best and House sucks. When the book gets out on him fully he will get rocked.

Howie, good to see you around. Always enjoy your posts.

Thx, Laker. I get busy from time to time with work travel and "second job" commitments.

So are you predicting Kluber leaves? He is not to shabby.

EDIT
I see Nava brought up Kluber... sorry

That defense though...

Yanks have just as great 8th and 9th guys...this is done....Yost apparently only wants to use Herrera or Davis when winning instead of shutting off scoring to not let them have a chance to come back.

This would be a big win if we are able to hold on....Hopefully we can follow this up by winning 2 of 3 in Detroit

Trust me that would be amazing but they have their big guns going so highly unlikely.

Going 3-1 on the road against Detroit & KC would be amazing though.

Considering his ERA and W-L%, he wasn't "helping them win."

Until he missed a start (first time thats happened his entire career) he'd been Top Ten in all of baseball in innings basically the entire year. I don't know who values W-L% over innings, maybe Im out of the loop, idk.

Looks like Porcello-Price-Verlander for the NYY series. Too bad, your Yanks don't get to face Robbie Ray or Buck Farmer. Unfortunately, that means one of them has to pitch in the DH against Chicago on Saturday, unless Anibal comes off the DL by then.

Yankees have their big guns going as well. McCarthy, shane, and kuroda are pitching. I expect some low scoring games just like the series in the bronx

That really depends though. I don't know who values innings if those innings have lead to a year of sucking complete and utter ass.

Both are flawed alone.

I mean Chris Archer for example has less wins and innings than JV. It doesn't take those two stats to know who is actually the better pitcher. Cobb for the Rays is another great example

lol funny seeing a year where those 3 guys are labeled as "big guns".

At least the Yanks still have 3 guys that can somewhat qualify. Twins have Yankees cast off Hughes and maybe Gibson if you want to get cocky.
