I think he's right though.

They aren't ranked 2nd. But Vegas has them as the second best odds to win that Natty on a Platter.

Kinda like how the Cubs always have good odds. Casinos like to make money.

I mentioned that. Latest Vegas info has Ohio State and Michigan 1 and 2 in bets placed for National Championship. But you can find some sites claiming UM leads in total bets. However, and I doubt doug can understand this, it does not have a connection to actual College Polls that rank teams ''ability'' to win the "Natty".

Doug.....I can't take the time to explain how betting odds/polls/number of bets differ. They just do and you will have to take my word on it. To make it simple for you.....

You stated that Michigan has #2 odds to win the National Championship. Depending on your source, that is a possibility. However....betting odds do not perfectly reflect a team's chances of actually winning the title. If you'd look...no pre-season POLL has the Wolverines rated #2. In fact, few have them rated in the top 10. Vegas is concerned with money first...not ability.

The Browns have 4 AAFC Championships '46-'49 and 4 NFL titles '50, '54, '55 and 1964. The Lions have 4 NFL titles.
