I agree that there's still a lot of baseball left, but still, on July 21st, I'd rather be rooting for the Indians, with the best rotation and a top offense in the AL to date than the Tigers who are eight games back in the loss column and just got dick whipped by the Twins.

Doug...who do you see the Tigers getting at the trade deadline? I know you will say JD Martinez is suppose to be back in early August...and that is like ''adding'' someone. Yet, I see rumors of Cleveland perhaps adding Jonathan Lucroy and maybe a relief pitcher or two. I don't hear any rumors about possible Tiger trades. What do you think Detroit should do before the trade deadline? (Do you know what the trade deadline is doug?)

So you feel Cabrera's and VMart's terrible stats for July rest on the shoulders of Ausmus? And that 4-11 record forged by Sanchez is largely due to Ausmus as well? I also am assuming you blame assmouse for signing Upton, Pelfrey, and Lowe during the off season?

But you may be on to something doug! Who would you select to replace Ausmus? Gene Lamont? Lloyd McClendon? Bring back Jim Leyland or Alan Trammell? How about hiring Derek Jeter?

Yes. Assmouse doesn't know when to pull a pitcher. When to put the right pitcher in. Plus he has maybe many mistakes. Like not let salty hit the other day in the 9th against that righty. Many many bad calls last 2 years. No deny that
