Because I didn't believe the Royals would win... I think as is.. the Indians will win... mostly because of injury concerns on the Tigers. If the Tigers team stays healthy they are going to win the central... I am just not going to put money on that yet.

I think the Yankees have a plan.......ReBuild the farm system, and by all accounts its a rapidly improving system......Let some of the uglier deals expire, which begins after this season with Tex and Beltran....Not dig the hole deeper with more ugly contracts.....The Yankees improved an 87 win team with Castro and Chapman, and they were the only team in MLB not to sign a FA this offseason

Im not criticizing Detroit as much as you think, they are in a very tough spot needing to keep building on the fly for an owner that wants to see a title before he dies....That is not an easy thing to do....But they have a barren farm system and sort of a middle of the pack team because of it
